My Story

Welcome to Wild Blu Indigo, a place where plants, intention, experience, and heart come together in everything I create.

Where It Really Began

Wild Blu Indigo didn't begin as a business idea. It grew out of my own journey.

For many years, my life looked very different than it does today. My path has included addiction, recovery, healing, starting over, and learning how to build a life that actually feels like my own.

Recovery taught me that healing isn't one big moment where everything suddenly becomes okay. It's a process. Sometimes it's messy. Sometimes it's uncomfortable. And sometimes it means getting curious about yourself and learning what your mind, body, and spirit have been trying to tell you all along.

As I rebuilt my life, I found myself becoming more deeply connected to the natural world and to the plants that had always fascinated me. I began studying herbs, making my own preparations, experimenting, learning, and paying attention.

What began out of necessity slowly became something much bigger.

I realized that working with plants wasn't simply something I enjoyed doing. It felt like part of my purpose.

Wild Blu Indigo grew from there.

More Than Products

I don't believe wellness comes from a single bottle, herb, tea, or remedy.

I believe in supporting the whole person.

The body matters. The mind matters. The spirit matters. What we put on our skin matters. What we consume matters. How we live matters.

That philosophy is behind everything I make.

Every Wild Blu Indigo product is handcrafted by me in small batches using thoughtfully chosen herbs, botanicals, oils, and other ingredients. I formulate with purpose, and I take the time to understand why an ingredient belongs in something rather than adding it simply because it's popular.

There are no assembly lines here and no giant warehouse.

Just me, a whole lot of herbs, probably several jars infusing somewhere, and a genuine love for what I do.

Healing Changed My Definition of Wellness

One of the biggest things my own journey has taught me is that wellness isn't about perfection.

It's about becoming more connected to yourself.

It's learning to listen to your body. It's caring for yourself instead of constantly fighting yourself. It's understanding that we can support ourselves physically while also tending to the emotional and spiritual parts of who we are.

Herbalism became one of the ways I learned to do that.

And while I would never claim that herbs replace the deeper work healing sometimes requires, I believe plants can be incredible allies in the way we care for ourselves.

That's the space Wild Blu Indigo lives in.

For the Animals We Love, Too

My love of animals has always been a huge part of who I am, so it was only natural that they became part of Wild Blu Indigo.

I create herbal offerings for pets with the same thoughtfulness I bring to products for people. They depend on us to make good choices for them, and I believe they deserve gentle, intentional care too.

Around here, wellness has paws.

What Wild Blu Indigo Stands For

Intention matters.
I want to know why something is in a formulation and what purpose it serves.

Nature has a lot to teach us.
Plants have been part of human life and traditional wellness practices for thousands of years. I respect that history while continuing to learn and grow in my own craft.

Healing is personal.
There isn't one perfect path. My own life certainly hasn't followed one.

The whole person matters.
Body, mind, and spirit aren't separate pieces of us.

Handmade still means something.
Small batch allows me to stay connected to what I'm creating instead of simply producing more of it.

Why “Wild Blu Indigo”?

Because this business is personal.

It's a reflection of where I've been, what I've learned, what I love, and the life I've worked hard to build.

Wild Blu Indigo is proof, at least in my little corner of the world, that something beautiful can grow from some pretty complicated soil.

Today, I get to spend my life creating, learning, working with plants, caring for animals, connecting with people, and sharing something that genuinely means something to me.

I don't take that for granted.

So whether you found Wild Blu Indigo at a market, through a friend, online, or somehow wandered your way here, thank you.

When you support Wild Blu Indigo, you're supporting more than a small business.

You're supporting a second chapter.

And I'm pretty damn grateful to be living it.

With gratitude,
Raye 💚
